WeCreate Laser factory in Shenzhen, China

Built in Shenzhen, Trusted Worldwide

WeCreate Laser was founded in 2012 in Shenzhen's Bao'an District — one of China's most concentrated laser manufacturing hubs. Our founding team of six engineers started with a single goal: make laser engraving accessible to people who aren't factory engineers.

By 2016, we had shipped our first 1,000 machines, primarily CO2 units for the signage industry in Southeast Asia. In 2019, we added fiber laser systems to our lineup after customers in the automotive parts sector requested permanent metal marking capabilities. Our diode laser line launched in 2022, targeting the growing maker and education markets.

Today, our 18,000m² facility in Bao'an employs 280 people — including 55 engineers focused on optical system design, firmware development, and application testing. We produce approximately 3,500 machines per year, with JPT and Raycus laser sources, HIWIN linear guides, and Delta servo systems as our core supply chain partners.

What Our Customers Say

Questions? We've Got Answers

Here are the things people ask us most often. If your question isn't here, just reach out — we genuinely love helping.

Which laser type is right for me?

It depends on what you want to work with. CO2 lasers are versatile for organic materials like wood and acrylic. Fiber lasers are best for metals. Diode lasers are great for beginners who want something portable and affordable. Not sure? Send us a message and we'll help you decide.

Do I need experience to use a WeCreate laser?

Not at all. Our machines are built with beginners in mind. We include video tutorials, a pre-loaded material database, and free one-on-one setup support. Most people are running their first job within two hours.

What materials can I engrave and cut?

Depending on the model: wood, acrylic, leather, fabric, paper, rubber, glass, anodized aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, and more. Our resource guides include recommended settings for each material type.

What's included with my purchase?

Every machine ships with free installation guidance, operator training materials, a starter accessory kit, and a 2-year warranty. We also offer lifetime technical support via chat, email, or phone.

Can I use my own design software?

Yes. Our machines are compatible with LightBurn, LaserGRBL, and our own WeCreate Studio software (included free). You can import designs from Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, or any program that exports SVG, DXF, or PNG files.

Do you ship internationally?

We do. WeCreate Laser ships to 55+ countries with door-to-door delivery options. All international shipments include CE and FDA compliance documentation. Typical delivery time is 7-15 business days depending on your region.

CO2 or fiber — how do I actually choose?

This is the most common question we get, and there's no one-size-fits-all answer. CO2 lasers (10.6μm wavelength) excel at cutting and engraving organic materials — wood, acrylic, leather, fabric. Fiber lasers (1064nm wavelength) are designed for metals and hard plastics. The physics are different: organic materials absorb CO2 wavelengths efficiently, while metals reflect them. If you work with both material types, you'll likely need both machines — or consider starting with the one that matches 80% of your work. We're honest about this: no single laser technology does everything well.

What are the limitations I should know about before buying?

Laser engravers aren't magic tools, and being upfront about that helps you make a better decision. CO2 lasers can't mark bare metals (only anodized or coated surfaces). Fiber lasers don't cut organic materials effectively. Diode lasers are lower-powered and slower than CO2 for cutting. All laser systems require proper ventilation — the fumes from cutting acrylic, leather, or MDF can be harmful without extraction. Maintenance-wise, CO2 tubes have a lifespan of roughly 2,000-8,000 hours depending on usage and need periodic replacement, while fiber laser sources typically last 100,000+ hours. Factor in the cost of consumables like CO2 tubes ($150-$800 depending on wattage), extraction filters, and focus lenses when budgeting.
